
Founded by Tracy Duggan, Skillslocal was built on a simple belief: Businesses grow best when their people do too.
The name Skillslocal reflects what we’ve always believed: Strong organisations are built through people development, practical leadership, human connection, and collaboration.
Over the years, we have evolved far beyond training. However, our core idea remains the same. We help organisations build the capability, confidence and culture needed to grow sustainably.

After more than 30 years working across private, public and charitable sectors, Tracy has seen first-hand what happens when organisations grow without the right leadership capability, structure or culture to sustain them. Good people burn out, managers struggle, founders become the bottleneck and culture starts to drift. That’s why the FLOURISH® Framework was created. It’s a practical, evidence-based approach that helps organisations align leadership, belonging, performance and long-term growth.

Ellie keeps the wheels turning behind the scenes, supporting systems, administration and tech so projects run smoothly and clients feel properly looked after.
Sally supports social media and visibility, helping bring the Skillslocal voice, ideas and client stories to life in a way that feels human and engaging.
Pete (Tracy’s hubby), who quietly keeps everything running behind the scenes looking after IT so the team can focus on what they do best.
Dalton and Kelvin, the two cocker spaniels who regularly feature in Tracy’s working day. Whether it’s beach walks, muddy adventures or reminding Tracy to stop for a break (or a glass of wine).
Whilst the work is serious, the way we work matters. We believe organisations flourish when people feel trusted, supported, challenged and able to be themselves, and we try to model that in everything we do.
