Investors in People Framework
WIIW Certified Practitioner
We invest in wellbeing is an award under the internationally recognised Investors in People framework. Your business is recognised for the support you give to your people in supporting their health and wellbeing. The invest in wellbeing framework has been developed in partnership with leaders and innovators which covers all aspects of wellbeing and drives behavioural change. It truly allows a culture of wellbeing to thrive within any organisation.
This is an excellent route to take if you’ve already been consciously developing strategies around the health and wellbeing agenda. It takes four to six weeks to become accredited. If you are just getting started on this and want some initial advice we can also help with that too.
The wellbeing framework will help you identify where you are at in your wellbeing journey; by looking into the areas of Leading, Supporting and Improving wellbeing. It will help you gather insights into where your organisation is doing well and where it needs improvement.
A 3 year assessment package starts from as little at £1,800 plus vat (depending on size) – please enquire for more information

What’s Covered?
Leading wellbeing
The LEADING indicator focuses on your commitment to enhancing people’s health and wellbeing, ensuring it is clearly defined and understood. It evaluates whether leaders and managers possess the skills, confidence, and competence to support the wellbeing of others. The three key themes revolve around shaping, owning, and living a culture of wellbeing.
Shaping
Shaping a culture of wellbeing looks at whether a clear plan is in place and communicated effectively, and whether leaders and managers are given the necessary development to be recognised as champions of wellbeing.
Owning
This theme focuses on whether individuals feel included in the development of health and wellbeing plans, understand them, and believe their needs have been considered.
Living
The living culture of wellbeing theme explores whether people feel that leaders and managers foster a supportive, positive, and safe environment.
Supporting wellbeing
The SUPPORTING indicator ensures that health and wellbeing are at the heart of everything you do. It assesses whether people are empowered to approach their work, colleagues, and the organisation itself with a positive mindset. The three key themes focus on connecting, aligning, and engaging in a culture of wellbeing.
Connecting
The connecting theme examines how informed people feel and whether they can discuss their wellbeing needs and access support when necessary.
Aligning
Aligning focuses on whether people feel valued and if wellbeing initiatives positively impact both their work and personal life.
Engaging
This theme focuses on policies and practices that support wellbeing, and whether people have the knowledge and confidence to take ownership of their own wellbeing, as well as that of others.
Improving wellbeing
The IMPROVING indicator focuses on creating an environment where wellbeing is embedded in everyday practices. It looks at how people’s views, opinions, and feedback are actively sought and acted upon, as well as how leaders assess and compare the investment in health and wellbeing with its tangible impact. The three key themes focus on measuring, enhancing, and sustaining a culture of wellbeing.
Measuring
This theme focuses on how the organisation collects and uses data to assess the impact of wellbeing initiatives and improve the support offered.
Enhancing
The enhancing theme looks at how wellbeing initiatives improve people’s work experience and foster personal growth.
Sustaining
The final theme, sustaining, focuses on the connection between wellbeing and performance, as well as the balance between proactive and preventative approaches.
How It Works?
1. We get to know you
We’ll kick things off with a meeting. You’ll talk to your practitioner and a project manager, and they’ll find out more about your organisation, your wellbeing strategy, your people, and what you’re looking to get out of this.
2. We survey your people
Next, we’ll send out a survey to all your people, to see what wellbeing programmes are in place, what’s working and what’s not. The survey’s got 25 questions, all based on your people’s wellbeing at work.
3. We spend time getting to know you
To get to know your people better, we’ll spend more time with them. We’ll interview a few people one-to-one at your offices, and sit in on some of your meetings, to get more of a feel for the approach to wellbeing within your organisation.
4. You get your report
We’ll take all our findings, and turn them into a report summing up what we found. This is where you’ll find out whether or not you’re accredited – and whether you’re silver, gold or platinum.
Your report will include plenty of views and quotes from your people, and our recommendations for what you can do next.
5. We help you take the next steps to make work better
Getting accreditation is a brilliant achievement, and a definite cause for celebration. But it’s not the end of the journey. Your accreditation will last for three years, and we’ll help you create an action plan for what changes your company’s going to make over that time.
We’ll check in with you regularly to find out how it’s going, and measure the effect your changes are having.
