WorldHost Train the Facilitator

I’m proud to say that I am now a licensed trainer for the People 1st WorldHost programmes which provide the the national standard for Customer Service in the Visitor Economy sector.  I attended the three day ‘Train the Facilitator’  programme in London last month with a great bunch of like-minded trainers.  The training really inspired to me learn more about training delivery and I’ve since enrolled to do my level 3 teacher training award which I believe will help to refine my skills.  I’m a true believer in ‘life-long learning’.

Whilst I’ve predominately focused on skills development and strategy previously it’s been a real learning curve to move towards the actual delivery.  Having now delivered several modules of the Digital Business Skills, I am both honoured and inspired to work with such fabulous small businesses.   All based in the Sheffield City Region the training has been delivered on behalf of the Source Skills Academy. The Source provides exceptional training and skills delivery for the Sheffield City Region and further afield and has fabulous training and conference facilities.

I’m hoping my move out of the corporate sector as Head of Strategic Partnerships for People 1st in May, to the development and launch of Skillslocal continues to provide me with a wider range of opportunities which will support small business and ultimately economic development for our Country.
